Not a S&W, but quality seems to be there. Id say its worth about what it costs, nothing special, and not too bad of a deal. After about 100 shots I havent noticed any problems or anything unusual. Sights most likely will have to be adjusted down when you first get it. The only problems youre likely to run into with this gun are minor. On mine, the casing release rod is ground rough and gets hung up sometimes in the extended position but its no big deal. The Taurus logo on the side is unevenly imprinted. the front sight i believe had red paint on it initially but i think a small amount of cleaning solvent literally cleaned it right off. Once again, it is not smith and wesson quality in the finer details but still a pretty solid gun so far. Im not sure how much help the porting gives with muzzle hop up but overall it is pretty tame when shooting. I doubt ill have any major issues with it for a long while.
