I have a pt22 it is a good quality small pistol.Mine has the nickel finish with the rosewood grips.The finish is a little bit rough,this is the only fault I can find with it.My wife keeps it loaded and handy for home defense,it seems to fit her well.It shoots well and is reliable.Some will say the .22 is not big enough for defense,however there are more people killed each year with the .22 than any other caliber.We use hollow point,high velocity ammunition. Both me and my wife feel a weapon you are comfortable with,and that fits you well are important considerations when making your decision.Remember safety first always!

I have had this gun for several years now and carry it with me all the time.It is easy to hide in your pocket but yet gun enough to use if the need be. I would use the hollow point bullets and know that what I shoot at will be hit...thanks for the great piece.....
