This is the perfect gun for serious shooters. I have put 1000+ rounds through it in the last month and have 2-3 in groups from 7, 10 and 15 yards. No malfunctions and it is a gun you can feel confident with in any situation.

not only is this gun beautifuly finished especially with the grey and black nill grips but it is also extremely accurate, amazing groups at 25 and 50, even with the shorter barrel. recoil is well controlled and barely noticed to me, i feel like my old 9mm has more kick than this does. i ended up loving the way this gun shoots so much that i sold my 9mm and my .357 because i litterally did not use them anymore, and since that i have used the money to buy 3 more sigs p239 sas gen1 ]with sig logo nill wood grips that came on the old sas, now they just use polymer[, a p232, and the sigpro sp2340 blue line. if you are going to spend this much money on a .45 you really can''t go wrong wether its the carry or the full size, equinox or not, this gun has always been amazing and extremely accurate, my cousin has an older german one with internal extractor, from the 80''s i beleive, and it has never miss fired or ftf or fte in all the times i saw him shooting it when i was a kid.
side note on the grips:
all sig wood grips are apparently made by karl nill ]nill-grips[, who has his own site for his custom made wood grips for a wide array of guns, i found this out when i emailed his company about grips for my p232 and in conversation i mentioned my equinox grips and they told me they make the sig wood grips but can''t sell them with sig logos from his site because of copyright or trademark reasons. i was trying to get the ones i wanted for my p232 to say sig sauer and p232 like an older model had. they still sell those grips but they have his small logo down in corner of grip still beautiful still bought em.
