I have this gun and the 45acp version. I love them both. New they are caked in sticky grease I suppose to keep them good in a warehouse for years to come. Anyway, CLEAN IT before first use... I can shoot any ammo throught this gun even cheap wolf stuff, no jams. I like the polished feed ramp(normally an upgrade on most guns). The internal lock and key is awesome for a house with kids. Just make sure the key is handy for emergency, it wont do anything if its locked, you might be able to pistol whip them but thats it...
I love taurus guns, reliable(when taken care of), cheap prices, good warranty.

Recieved mine for valentines day. Ive got as good woman. I do not have one complaint has not had one jam of any kind. Even cycling through as fast as I can pull the trigger. This thing just kept firing. I now have 400 rounds through it . I have only shot winchester white box FMJ. So I cant say about hallow points but so far so good .The gun was a little off at first but adjustable with the wrench supplied with gun. The lock out feature that uses the supplied tool is a nice if you have kids. Though it is not practical for home defense find tool unlock no time for that in an emergency situation. The indentations on frame are nice reminder that your fingers are in the correct places. Though the grip is a bit large for my girlfriend she cant hold gun quite correctly. There are no removable back plates on grip to reduce size. But she still manages to get good groupings at 15 yards. this gun is easy to take down and reassemble no tools needed ! If you need a good gun at a good price. This is one gun to cosider. If you have small hands consider a Ruger SR9.
