This firearm is very accurate and dependable. I shoot 158gr hollow points is what I shoot in it all the time. It will do the job of protecting my wife and myself plus it is very easy to conceal in a derringer holster. I also purchased a 6 round ammo pouch for a total of 8 rounds.I wife also has a 38 special derringer by Cobra she carries. The price of a firearm doesn't make it worth more, malfunctions is what cost you way more money then what I paid for the two derringers.

38 Spl. Nickle Plate .No dought a stopping gun.
However,"Maybe it's just mine",but the trigger pull
is off the chart.Like a 15-18 # trigger pull.Screws
with my accuracy big time.Going to try to find a gunsmith
to see if this can't be adjusted.Anybody else have this
problem?Any solutions?Neat little gun to carry,but
I hope the adrindlin is there when I need it,to pull
down on the trigger without a jerk.

A standard pistol round puts a major kick to the hand with these small weapons. At 10 to fifteen feet you don't need a huge blast to get a bad guy's attention, put him down and/or get away. I carry one of these in .38 special and I load the rounds differently. The first barrel puts out a spread of birdshot; when fired at the face it will get an attacker's attention. The second round is a wadcutter for cleaning up. Neither of these rounds are powerful enough to screw up the shot, injure myself of cause me to drop the weapon on firing. But the combination works.
